Ha. I've been seeing all the news in the last few days and thought, odd, haven't heard out of Kirk yet. So I decided to check in right now, and lo and behold...

It's hard not to notice an event... since I'm working at Elections Ontario. It's like all we talk about. (Kidding). Good luck with prep.

Harper's right, Dion needs to fish or cut bait. While I will NEVER vote for the Harper tories I also have very little inspiration in the current liberal party despite being sympathetic with their carbon tax. THe problem is the only policy announcements they've made are the carbon tax and the less widely covered child poverty strategy.

Where are the bits about key aspects of the econonomy or international relations or the drastically needed reform of our health care system?

If I were Dion I would have pulled the plug over the immigration provision in the budget bill. Since he's walked away from that in my eyes he's hasn't got much credibility with me (as a party leader).

Sigh....

alas. 110 is no more. It ceases to be. It's gone to join the choir invisible. Bereft of life, it rests in peace. It is an ex-house.

People are buying up the properties around there and zoning them for apartment complexes. Given K-W's archaic rules for gaining rental permits for houses, it makes sense to build student apartments off campus.

I imagine he came back to his house, stayed overnight, and then the motorcade took him to the airport this morning (and given the streets that I was told it was spotted on, it makes sense) to go see the floods in NB.

I guess Mercer was just signing his name on all the books, but my HR Mgr told him that her colleague was running as an independent in the federal election and so he asked my name to put it down.

I'm sure the day he starts poking fun at me on RMR I'll consider it a fair trade.

Nice.

Even better than when liz and i passed him going into the Chat-Eau laurier here in O-Town. All I could muster in the time he passed us was a 'love your work' and shook his hand.

Cheers,
